During the Grammy nomination show last night it was announced that Wiz Khalifa has been nominated for 2 Grammy awards. Wiz will compete in the “Best Rap Song” category as well as the “Best Rap Performance” category, both nominees are for the song “Black & Yellow”. The show will take place on February 12th at 8 pm est.

To win the “Best Rap Song” award Wiz will have to beat out the competition of the following songs: Kanye West – All Of The Lights, Dr. Dre – I Need A Doctor, Chris Brown – Look at Me Now, Kanye West & Jay-Z – Otis, & Lupe Fiasco – The Show Goes On.

The “Best Rap Performance” category consist of many of the same songs, the following songs were nominated: Chris Brown – Look At Me Now, Jay-Z & Kanye West – Otis, Lupe Fiasco The Show Goes On, & Nicki Minaj – Moment 4 Life.

Shockingly Wiz Khalifa was not picked as a nominee for “Best New Artist”. The Band Perry, Bon Iver, J. Cole, Nicki Minaj, & Skrillex were the nominees chosen to represent this category.
