Ah, Ah!! Before you go reaching for your ‘mourning gear’, break out the COLOR!!!! This fall, who says black is the standard? Browns, golds, eggplants and cherries are the way to go!
Bold colors in long beaded necklaces, long gowns with denim jackets and warm scarves to help ‘stretch’ the extended summer (which came to a crashing close!) All the same, tis the season to....LAYER, LAYER, LAYER! A blue turtleneck under a fuschia short-sleeve top with bold printed tights, yes, TIGHTS! with denim skirts and legwarmers.
If you absolutely MUST wear black, add a dash of fushia or orange or funky multi-colored scarves and bright gold gloves to make your statement....whatever it is!

Allen, a long time member (keys & saxophone) of the maverick R&B band known for such hits as ‘Pretty Brown Eyes’, ‘Swingin’ and ‘Whoa!’ (caged bird records) was pleasantly surprised! "This is really nice man," says Allen. Noticeably absent was band guitarist, Odell; noticeably present was Destiny Child’s, Michelle Williams.
The party coordinated by close friends, Rebecca Neal and Rhonda Hansford was quite cool! Not bad for a Monday nite in ‘the Sota!! UM.

Barack Obama clinches the election as the 44th President of the U. S of A!!

When you see images of young Asians far flung across the globe holding up signs with Obama’s image and what one must assume is his name in Korean, it brings a sense of wonder, humility and human fellowship.
Despite malicious campaign tactics, typical political mud-slinging, the 47 year old democrat from the land of Lincoln via Hawaii and Kenya (what a journey!) glided to victory with a style and grace unmatched, unseen since JESUS!!!
While the road ahead is murky, the important thing is that CHANGE HAS IN FACT COME!!!
